How She Got Thin!!!!

We don't usually post things like this, but something said, Emily, say what's on your mind...and I will. How Brit Got Thin?? How she lost 26lbs in one month??? Um...well...huh...let me take a wild guess here...SHE HAD A FRIGGIN' BABY!

My new diet will consist of me getting pregnant, having that child, and then presto chango: I'll lose at least 20lbs that week. BRILLIANT US Magazine...BRILLIANT!

Oh, and don't you love the before picture of her pregnant...almost as if they are avoiding the fact that there was a human being living inside of her?

Too Funny! They do this all the time when stars have a baby. exactly like you said, like they were fat and now they're not ignoring the fact that they had babies

hehe ... I love you girls.

What really gets me about those headlines is that losing 26 lbs in one month generally isn't healthy. Also, a woman shouldn't be focused on losing weight just after having a baby, she needs to have enough energy to take care of the baby and possibly nurse the baby.
Priorities are so incredibly f**ked up!

Hey you ladies should check out www.violentacres.com

A hilarious tucker max parody is there that you might find amusing.

The Biggest Loser people lost like 15 lbs in their first week!

Anyway, Britney should be pregnant again any second if I know my K-Fed. He should be back from Vegas and porking her... right about... now. Every kid between them buys him a little more time living off her.

She had a 26-pound baby?

No, she didn't have a 26 pound baby...probably a 7 pound baby, 5 pound placenta and 15 pounds in excess water and blood. It can drop off fairly quickly. Of course it usually does when you do a C-Section at 35 weeks, so you miss the last month (the one where you tend to "gain" a lot of weight).
Thanks, Fatty, for pointing out how stupid that cover story is! I lost 18 pounds the week I had my son (he was 6 pounds). I didn't make a cover of any magazine, that's for sure!

Don't forget the probable lipo and tummy tuck she had during the c-section.

The only thing that's worse than "Look how they lost weight!" after stars have had a baby is the "OMG she MUST be pregnant!" when a star gains a few pounds.

Also, it's gross when US Weekly refers to pregnant womens' babies as "bumps." That's not a person growing inside her! It's just a comical/unsightly bump on her torso!

But also remember that the front of the magazine could have been re-touched and photoshopped... maybe that isn't her real body at all.

I don't think the baby weighed 26 pounds?! ;)

Tim, read fatmom's entry, six entries up from yours.

Or even when a star has a large lunch!

I really don't care about Britney's weight either way, but damn, those are some cute jeans she's wearing.

That's pretty much all I got out of that cover.

babies plus amniotic fluid do not equal anywhere near 20 lbs.

So . . . what's your point, anonymous 11:11?

BRILLIANT!

What do you do with the baby after you lose the weight though?

she was a gymnast most of her life - she has a healthy young metabolism. Hello. How can they think people believe this? I guess they must believe it because I know tons of people who read this shit like it's a bible.

A five-pound placenta? Yowza! It's actually about 1.5 pounds. You can make about four hamburgers out of it. They're popular with vegans as "unkilled meat."

Breast tissue, uterine tissue and blood increase somewhat, and there's amniotic fluid. But I'd reckon that half the 26 pounds was just fat. U.S. doctors recommend too much weight gain, as a "margin" in case the woman gets sick or something. Woment in Asia manage to not gain much weight and do just fine.

There's a debate going on right now in the obstetrics committee of the Institute of Medicine about this. 26 pounds is just too much to gain in a pregnancy, especially since most U.S. mothers are fat when they get pregnant.

Two words:

Breast-feeding.

Here's Hollywood's little secret...my brother works as a plastic surgeon in LA...the reason all these women keep having c-sections is because they have tummy tucks along with the c-section...junior is born through c-section and plastic surgeon is right there in the room to perform tummy tuck right after.

why do you think they all look so fabulous two-weeks later! And, do you remember brit's first kid...she didn't slim down right away -- no tummy tuck!

do the math!

its sick.

breast-feeding burns about 500 calories a day

well, now that her belly's gone and she can actually see kfed, she proably can't keep any food down.

I think you missed their point...obviously they know she just had a baby, but their point she isn't still pudgy like most (normal) women after they give birth! She has really get kicked her butt into shape which they are saying is even harder after pregnency.

It's a dumb article but c'mon, the baby didn't weigh 26 pounds! At most it might have weighed 10 pounds - and that's a BIG baby.

I get really irritated by these stories about how quickly celebrities lose weight after pregnancy. Good for them on getting back into shape but a) it's not healthy to lose so much so fast and b) it almost certainly means they are not breast feeding, which is not best for baby.

Okay, I didn't see Fatmom's comment above but I'm still sceptical... doesn't breast feeding make you really hungry? If the comment about the tummy tuck is true, that's just sick but it doesn't surprise me!
