Happy Anniversary to us!!!

Well, it's been a whole year since we started to write about our fat lives. A year ago today I was living in a gross apartment in Chinatown sweating my ass off with no air conditioner and a bipolar flatmate who went off her meds. Now I am living in an awesome apartment which I may be giving up soon and I think I am having a quarter life crisis. And Emily ... well, Emily is still living in the lap of luxury in Los Angeles (but she has a new job!). And I am sure we have both gained a few pounds. What a difference a year makes! Thanks to everyone who reads our musings. Now go eat some cake.

I wish you guys wrote everyday! You should write a book or at least publish a "best of" collection. Thanks for blogging!

I love this blog, it is insightful and funny... you guys have your heads screwed on straight... conscious of your weight but not letting it rule your lives.

Keep writing... and I second what somebody above said about writing a book!

yeah, write a book! 1/4 life crises suck. i think i'm just coming out of mine. when you start posting about it i'll offer any "wisdom" i supposedly gained. i think i just stopped caring, which although not ideal, makes life liveable.

mmm, cake. well, if you insist--

Yeah cake! Let's get fatter! Wee!

I'm sure you've never eaten cake in your life, Red. You survive on a diet of air, two drops of water from an eyedropper, and have an excersize routine which includes a 20 miles hike through wolf-infested territory. Have to keep yourself looking good for the stupid frat boys, right? The only men that would have someone of your worthlessness.

It makes sense that you can't even spell "exercise".

It makes sense that you can't even come up with a decent reply. bgb2Tuckerville, where you would probably be honored for being so goddamned stupid.

Congrats on keeping strong for a whole year... that is not easy.

More, though, thanks for being both fat and laugh-out-loud funny; I am a straight man whose friends would laugh at me out of fear if I felt any desire to tell them, but your posts escape my dread; i love them and totally dig what you have to say. They make me think and smile and also make me thankful that I'm not trapped by the so-called ordinary; I love fat women.

Thank you again.

red, I'm offended. I eat a lot of cake, but it's got nothing to do with me being fat. I'm fat because of genetics, damn it!

And I exercize too. I walk at least 5 minutes each day in our parking lot. But I'm still fat because of genetics.
