The Fat One

I hosted my sister-in-law's baby shower last week. I looked pretty good. Gap tweed skirt, (thank you extended sizes on Gap.com) and a black sweater. I was hot shit.

But, guess what her two tiny, thin, sisters showed up wearing?

Yeah, you guessed right.

If you split the picture we took together in half, it would look like an ad for weight loss surgery. Before and After. Sad.

Oh, that sucks.

props for wearing tweed. I love tweed but am always selfconscious because it is a thick material and I feel like it makes me look heavier.

you still are hot shit :-)

OMG, I hate it when that happens...

I can completely relate!

Sorry that happened; I hope it didn't completely ruin your day!

I'm sure you looked beautiful in your tweed skirt. Don't feel down when you're around skinny girls. You have many great things that they don't have! Most guys I talk to love women with curves, including my fiance.

I feel your pain. My brother married a woman who is a perfect size 4. It gets worse.. she has a twin!

Just to clarify - the twins were wearing *matching* outfits, that just happened to match your outfit?

EEEw tacky on their behalf. It's creepy when moms dress their twin children in identical clothing, and, imo, even creepier when they carry it on into adulthood of their own volition.

On the other hand, I've often seen skinny clothes and wanted to buy two and sew them together, but I haven't been able to justify the price. So here's your chance: twins each buy it, and you're bigger than them so you roll both of them. Win!

Oh, and btw, what's up with your SIL having *two* baby showers? Isn't one enough?

who said they were twins? She said two tiny, thin sisters.

Did I miss the twins thing?
